Our large Dutch amaryllis bulbs produce 2-3 stalks with 4 giant red-pink with highlight flowers per stem 8-12 weeks after planting!
Plant your amaryllis bulb in a 6-8 inch pot with a well-draining potting mix, leaving the top 1/3 of the bulb uncovered. Place your potted bulb in a sunny east or south-facing window. Keep the soil moist, not wet. As the stalk grows, turn your pot regularly to encourage it to grow straight. Once your bulb begins to flower, maximize bloom life by moving the pot someplace that receives indirect light.
